Musician Ray Parker Jr. In Person with a screening of a 70 MM print of GHOSTBUSTERS on HALLOWEEN

 

WHO: Musician Ray Parker Jr. who wrote and sang the theme for GHOSTBUSTERS (Academy Award nominee for Best Original Song for a Film) will do an introduction and sing-along of the song.

70mm Print! GHOSTBUSTERS, 1984, Sony Repertory, 105 min. Dir. Ivan Reitman. Three para-psychologists, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, and Dan Aykroyd, versed in the occult start Ghostbusters, a company that traps ghosts, spirits and other supernatural spectres for money. Business starts picking up when Sigourney Weaver notices strange phenomena in her kitchen, like eggs frying themselves. Suddenly the Ghostbusters are called on to save the Big Apple. Come enjoy this goofy, quick-witted, special-effects blockbuster on the big, big screen! There will also be a screening of the original music video.
